Services for Victims of Abuse
and Concerned Friends and Family

Assistance at Court
Court advocates are available to assist victims of domestic violence and sexual assault in the District and Superior Courts for residents of Coventry, Cranston, East Greenwich, Foster, Johnston, North Providence, Scituate, Warwick, West Greenwich, and West Warwick. Assistance with Restraining Orders is also available at the Kent County Courthouse.

Assistance at the Police Department

The Elizabeth Buffum Chace Center participates in the Law Enforcement Advocate Program with several area police departments.  In these departments, advocates are available on site to provide support, information and referrals to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.  Participating police departments in towns served by EBCC include Coventry, Cranston, Johnston, Warwick, West Greenwich and West Warwick. Counseling
A continuum of programs for those who have been victims of abuse.

  • Individual counseling for both women and men
  • Facilitated support groups
  • Psycho-educational groups

Specialized Services for Seniors
