Law Enforcement Advocacy

At the Elizabeth Buffum Chace Center, we understand that it is difficult contacting law enforcement with questions regarding domestic violence and sexual assault, even in times of crisis. That is why we have law enforcement advocates who work in the Coventry, East Greenwich, West Greenwich, North Providence, Johnston, and Cranston police departments.
To reach the advocate for:
Cranston, Coventry, West Greenwich, or East Greenwich call:
(401) 345-7034 or email yinaldiss@ebchouse.org.
North Providence or Johnston call:
No. Prov: (401) 231-4533 ext. 1145
Johnston: (401) 757-3139
or email nicolev@ebchouse.org.
Law Enforcement Advocates are not police officers, but advocates employed by non profit agencies.
These phone numbers are not emergency numbers; if it is an emergency please call 911.
To reach a LEA in another police department, please check out the RI Coalition Against Domestic Violence’s list here.
